You must complete the Application for Previous Scholarship Recipients yourself, without assistance from others (e.g., parents or guidance counselors) or from artificial intelligence tools. Any applicant who receives such assistance will be disqualified. If you need clarification of the application instructions, please email us with your question(s).
1. Review the eligibility requirements to ensure that you are still eligible to apply.
2. If you haven't already done so, register on this site. (You, not your parent or guardian, must register for you to be eligible to apply.) This will allow you to download the application, ensure that we know who is applying for a scholarship, and enable us to communicate with you when necessary. If you registered previously, you may log in with your existing User ID and password.
3. Complete or obtain copies of documents and collect other information needed to apply, as follows:
- Download and complete the
Application for Previous Recipients
(You will have to log in to download the form.) The application is a fillable PDF form, which you should complete electronically. Save it to your desktop and use
Adobe Acrobat Reader to save information in the form. (Do not use Google Docs or a similar platform; it may alter the format and fillable fields in the file.)
Note: You should keep a copy of your completed application in case we ask you to revise it.
-
Obtain a copy of your transcript from the college, university, junior college, technical college, or trade school in which you are currently enrolled. (If your transcript does not include information for the current semester, you may submit an unofficial transcript with your application. If you receive a scholarship, we will require that you submit an official transcript with your tuition bill.)
- Obtain copies of the following from the FAFSA Submission Summary that results from your completion of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):
- Eligibility Overview
- FAFSA Form Answers (Please be sure to click both Expand All buttons so that your answers to all questions will be visible before you save the page as a PDF.)
Note: It can take from three days to three weeks for a FAFSA to be processed. For more information on the FAFSA process, go to Federal Student Aid.
- Obtain a copy of your Financial Aid Summary from the college, university, or other school you plan to attend or are currently attending. (If you are transferring to a different school, the FAS should be from the school to which you are transferring.) This Financial Aid Summary (FAS) must include a summary of:
- Your cost of attendance for the upcoming school year
- Your financial aid for the upcoming school year
If your FAS for the upcoming school year will not be available before the application deadline, you may
submit your FAS for the current year, noting any changes you expect to occur in the upcoming year. (If
you are selected for a scholarship, we will ask you to submit your FAS for the upcoming year before we
finalize your award.)
- If you plan to live off-campus, obtain:
- A copy of your signed lease or other proof of off-campus housing costs. If you will not be responsible for the full amount of the rent, indicate what proportion of the total will be
your responsibility
- An estimate of your portion of utilities (e.g., electricity, gas, and water) if they are not included in your rent
- An estimate of your food costs, including the cost of groceries and/or a meal plan, if you purchased one. If you did not
purchase a meal plan, you can expect to pay about $2,950 for groceries during the school year.
In addition to a copy of your signed lease, please include documentation of your estimated costs for utilities and food with your cost of attendance information (above).
- Copy your current driver's license, voter registration card, or other government issued identification that shows your current address and can be used as proof of residency in the Franklin Regional School District.
4. Submit the documents listed above together and no later than 5:30 PM (EDT) on April 30, 2025. Documents submitted individually will not be accepted. You may submit your application package by:
