Mission
The Delmar Foundation mission is to help residents of the Franklin Regional School District better themselves through education.
Vision
We hope to build the Delmar Foundation so that we can attract and help every scholarship applicant who qualifies.
Arthur J. Spagnol, the founder of the Delmar Foundation, believed deeply in the importance of education and in building the local community. He established the Foundation to help residents of the community where he lived and worked his entire life to pursue an education in the field of their choosing. He personally shaped the eligibility requirements to focus on residents of the Franklin Regional School District who need financial assistance to further their education.
The Delmar Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee is charged with selecting scholarship recipients who meet the eligibility requirements that Mr. Spagnol set forth. The Committee meets annually to review all applications and select the most deserving applicants.
The Delmar Foundation has been
approved as a private foundation with tax-exempt status under Section 501(3)(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are required to file Form 990-PF annually.
